Steven Lewis Weinglass is from Kearny, New Jersey and began performing musically at the age of 14. After playing multiple instruments with a number of bands in the New York metropolitan area, he attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass. There he studied “arranging and composition“ with a performance minors on both bass guitar and piano.
After college, he became music director and bassist for Shirley Alston Reeves (former lead vocalist and founder of the Shirelles), followed by the same position with The Four Tops and Bill Haley’s Comets.
Later he began producing in the studio on numerous music videos. That was followed with a six year run playing live again on Bleeker St. in New York’s Greenwich Village.
Moving to Los Angeles in 2003, he has teamed with various composers and songwriters to build a vast library of music.
